GoldenNewsNg gathered that a Facebook user identified as Joel Augustine A. has shared a beautiful love story about how he met the lady he’s about to get married to at the #ENDSARS protest.
The #EndSARS protest which happened in October 2020, Nigerians took to the streets across the country to protest and demand an end to police brutality and bad governance.
Meanwhile Joel Augustine and Umoh Unyime, who were both strangers but now lovers were among the youth who came out to pray for Nigeria over.
Sharing their prewedding photos at a popular Akwa Ibom Facebook page, Joel wrote;
#EndSars brought about a new beginning. These beautiful lovers then strangers, met during the Akwa Ibom #End_sars #Uyo_PrayerWalk; now set to bid farewell to single life.
Umoh Unyime the bride-to-be penned this down; ‘I’m usually not this nervous to make a post. But as it draws closer I realized that God’s word is to be shown to the world. It began with #Endsars , # UyoPrayerWalk, and today it is #PY2021 I’m glad we prayed
