Covid-19 Grants for Individuals is specifically developed to assist local organizations in adapting to the Pandemic’s concerns Closing schools, postponing travel, and requiring workers to work remotely were just a few of the measures adopted by government officials and businesses to prevent the virus from spreading.

About Covid-19 Grants

Several community foundations and other organizations have funding schemes in place to assist local groups in adapting to the issues caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Closing schools, delaying travel, canceling events, and requiring employees to work from home were all actions used by government officials and companies in 2020 to prevent the virus from spreading.

Because of these hurdles, our lives were physically, socially, and economically disrupted.

 

We continue to be concerned about community health and the ongoing needs of working families who are experiencing financial difficulty and food insecurity.

Grants will be awarded between $5,000 to $30,000 and will be evaluated regularly. Nonprofit organizations and government entities, and individuals, may apply for extra money.  Covid-19 Grants for Individuals

List of Grants for Individuals

Go through the list of organizations and the grants they have made available below.

1. The Foyle Foundation

During the Covid-19 crisis, the Foyle Foundation has reopened its Small Grants Scheme to benefit smaller, grass-roots, and local organizations across the UK.

Organizations that presently provide services to the young, vulnerable, old, disadvantaged, or public, either directly or through online help, are eligible to apply for grants ranging from £1,000 to £10,000.

Charities with a revenue of less than £150,000 per year can show financial stability and a demonstrated demand for their services.

Funding can pay core costs or critical equipment, to enable continued service provision, home working, or delivery of online digital services.

The financing competition is likely to be fierce. At any moment is a good time to submit an application.

2. National Heritage Memorial Fund

Charities, not-for-profits, and government agencies can apply for funds to assist safeguard nationally significant historical items that are in danger of being lost because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Covid-19 Response Fund, established by the National Heritage Memorial Fund, will assist a wide spectrum of history, from fine and decorative arts to museum collections and archives, historic buildings and land, and industrial, transportation, and maritime heritage.

£20 million is available to fund UK-based organizations, with an extra £20 million available to English-based organizations.

Funding might cover purchase expenses, immediate conservation work, and long-term support so that cultural objects can be re-homed in a sustainable manner.

The fund will accept applications through April 30, 2023. There are no deadlines for applications.

3. Comcast RISE Investment Fund

Comcast RISE is dedicated to assisting small companies that has been affected by the pandemic’s economic effect.

Small companies owned by people of color or women in the United States can apply for $10,000 in funding and marketing, creative, media, and technological services through the Comcast RISE Investment Fund.

Businesses must be independently owned, have been in operation for one or more years, and be owned and run by at least 51 percent of people who identify as Black, Indigenous, a person of color, or a woman.

4. Physicians for a Healthy California

The KidsVaxGrant program is administered by physicians for a Healthy California and is funded by the California Department of Public Health.

Funds medical organizations that are enrolled in the federal Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program and serve eligible children from birth to age 18.

5. UK Insurance and Long-Term Savings Industry

The UK insurance and long-term savings industries have established the Covid-19 Support Fund to assist some people who have been severely affected by the Covid-19 disaster.

The Covid-19 Support Fund intends to raise £100 million, with £82.6 million in voluntary donations from industry businesses already pledged.

The Charities Aid Foundation and a network of partners, including the National Emergencies Trust, will collaborate on the Fund.

The main goal is to give urgent aid to charities affected by Covid-19, as well as a longer-term support program for individuals, communities, and causes in need.

6. Meyer Foundation

The Meyer Foundation is presently concentrating its main grant-making to assist efforts to reclaim COVID-19 in a reasonable and fair manner.

Supported projects will address inequity’s core causes through systems change work, create power to advance racial and economic justice, and actively take part in wider organizing, movement, or field-building activities.

7. Volant Charitable Trust: COVID-19 Response Fund

Through the COVID-19 Response Fund, the Volant Trust seeks applications from charities in the United Kingdom and throughout the world.

They have a strong focus on eradicating social deprivation and aiding vulnerable populations that have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Applications for medical equipment, as well as the production or distribution of personal protective equipment, will be examined.

8. John Lyon’s Charity (London)

Grants of up to £5,000 are offered to state schools and arts organizations to develop chances for young people to engage with the arts who have been hampered by Covid-19 regulations, particularly those from homes where they rarely engage in such activities.

The John Lyon’s Charity’s Cultural Capital Fund will support high-quality face-to-face arts activities in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, and the Cities of London.

And Westminster in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, and the Cities of London and Westminster.

Trips to the theater, visits to art galleries or museums, and seminars provided by museums, galleries, and theaters, for example, are all activities. Schools and arts organizations that have already received money can apply up to the deadline.

9. The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust

The Power and Accountability initiative seeks to help people work together to build a world where power is more evenly distributed and powerful institutions are responsive and responsible to a broader community and aligned with the long-term public interest.

Support is available in the following areas: enhancing corporate responsibility, enhancing democratic accountability, supporting responsible media, and addressing COVID-19’s dual evils of systemic racism and COVID-19.
