Many people in Nigeria have been forced to stay at home due to the government’s lock down order. That has increased the need for fitness trainers in Nigeria. At the earliest stage of the lock down, law enforcement agents forced many people that were exercising on major roads back to their houses for failing to adhere to strict social distancing measures.

Exercise helps to get rid of unsaturated fats from the body which can cause health complications. By carrying out their normal daily routine of going to work people have been naturally taking care of the body but with the lock down and need for social distancing more people are staying at home doing nothing.

The risk of developing health conditions like obesity, stroke and diabetes complication has also increased greatly. That is why Fitness trainers now play a significant role in helping people to stay healthy during lock down. They can operate at the community level by getting a few people together to exercise daily.

Some even go for the practice of Yoga which helps to relieve all parts of the body but it is not as effective as an exercise guided by a fitness trainer. Fitness training can now be done online as people can easily subscribe to channels where such services are provided and follow the routine training activities to stay fit.

The corona virus pandemic will remain for a long time because of the new wave of infections that are recorded in many parts of the world where concerted efforts were made to flatten the curve when the pandemic was at its peak.

The world has also been trying to live with the virus by lifting lock down despite constant rise in the number of new infections but it is not going to be easy because from time to time, lock down will be imposed to try to manage the spread of the virus.
