NDA Postgraduate Courses: Programs And Admission Requirements
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Postgraduate School has gained global recognition for its excellence, caliber, and discipline. With a wide range of unique programs, the Postgraduate School has made significant contributions to the Armed Forces, its catchment area, and its sphere of influence.
These programs cover diverse fields that go beyond the offerings of traditional universities. In addition to the full-time programs, the NDA Postgraduate School also offers professional part-time programs, including professional doctorate, part-time master’s degree, and postgraduate diploma programs.
NDA Postgraduate School – Programs Admission Requirements.
The admission requirements for the various programs are as follows
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree: Candidates must hold a master’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the proposed subject of study.
- Master’s (MA, M.Eng, and M.Sc) Degrees: Candidates must be Nigerian Defence Academy graduates or possess a comparable degree from a recognized university with a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant subject.
- Professional Doctorate Programs: Candidates must have an academic master’s degree or a professional master’s degree with relevant work experience in the public or private sector.
- Master’s Degree: Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Honours (Lower Division). Third Class degree or Higher National Diploma holders must also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in a related field from a recognized institution.
- PGD Programs: Candidates must hold either a Higher National Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree from the Nigerian Defence Academy or a recognized university.
