Bode George, a former military governor of old Ondo State, has revealed that Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, is not a native of Lagos State.
Goldennewsng reports that On Tuesday morning, George, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, appeared on Arise TV’s Morning Show. During his appearance, he talked about the PDP’s internal crisis as well as Tinubu’s candidacy.
Punch says George said that the APC candidate hasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he is from Lagos because he hasn’t provided any evidence to back up his claim.

George stated that the reconciliation would only occur if the party hierarchy “gives unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar,” when asked if the opposition party would be able to resolve its internal crisis before the elections of the following year.
He added that the North-Central, who currently holds the position of national chairman, had held the majority of the party’s leadership positions ever since the party was founded almost 25 years ago.
