1. Court Suspends PDP National Chairman

The High Court of Rivers State on Monday stopped the embattled Prince Uche Secondus from parading himself as National Chairman or member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Justice O. Gbasam of the Degema Judicial Division Vacation Court sitting in Port Harcourt granted the injunction following a suit No: PHC/2183/CS/2021 filed by Ibeawuchi Ernest Alex, Dennis Nna Amadi, Emmanuel Stephen and Umezirike Onucha against Uche Secondus (1st defendant) and the PDP (2nd defendant).
2. IPOB Members Want To Kill Me – Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Reveals
Aloy Ejimakor, a lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that some members of the outlawed group are threatening to kill him.
In a post on his Twitter handle on Monday, Ejimakor said the threat to kill him by some IPOB members is linked to the controversial suspension of the sit-at-home directive by the IPOB leadership
He however clarified that the sit-at-home order that was directives about three weeks ago by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not passed through him.
The new Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 17, Mr Ene Okon has commended the Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, for his doggedness in the creation of the State Security Network also known as Amotekun.
Okon said Akeredolu had laid a solid foundation for community policing with the creation of Amotekun and the dogged role he played.
He gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor in his office, Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital.
He said, “I know Ondo was one of the endangered states in term of farmers/herders clashes. But the story has changed. Ondo is now one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria. You have made the job of the police and other security agencies simple. I know I am coming here to rest because you have done most of the job.
5. FG Flags-Off NPower Batch C For 1m Beneficiaries
GoldenNewsNg reports that the federal government Monday flagged off the N-Power Batch C programme for one million beneficiaries in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking during the exercise in Abuja during the flag off exercise, the minister, of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq, said the batch C is divided into Stream C1 of 510,000 beneficiaries and stream C2 for 490,000 beneficiaries as, under the Batch C1, a total of 450,000 have been selected to benefit under the graduate component, while 60,000 beneficiaries will be non-graduate beneficiaries.
