How to Transfer from Your Current University to UNILORIN
- Interested candidates must purchase the transfer form from the academic office after making the necessary payment and obtaining a bursary receipt.
- After completing the form, candidates are required to submit it along with their academic records’ transcripts to the admission office at least two weeks before the matriculation date for the respective session.
- Upon receiving the forms, the admission office will process them and forward them to the appropriate Dean of Faculty or Head of Department for their consideration and recommendation to the Secretary of the University Admissions Board. The Secretary of the Admissions Board will then review and forward them to the University Admissions Board for final consideration.
It is crucial for the admissions office to verify and confirm the authenticity of all transcripts and ensure that transfer students do not have any involvement in cult activities or possess questionable character.
Note:
- The UNILORIN Inter-University Transfer Form is only applicable to students up to the 200 level. Students above the 200 level studying a 4-year course will not be considered for transfer.
- UNILORIN allows transfer from other universities for students in the 300 level studying Law (LLB), Medicine, and Nursing (B.N.Sc.) programs that have a duration of 5 and 6 years or more.
Terms and Fees:
Successful candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦350,000 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) only. This one-time fee must be paid upon confirmation of the transfer to the University of Ilorin.
Transferring students are expected to spend a minimum of two sessions at the University of Ilorin before graduation, ensuring their full integration into UNILORIN’s educational experience.
