LASU Central Admissions Clearance, also known as LACACA, is a crucial process for newly admitted students at Lagos State University (LASU) in Nigeria. It ensures the authentication of admission and facilitates the registration of students in the university. Located in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria, LASU is a renowned institution.
Whether admitted in a full-time or part-time mode, all applicants who have received admission to LASU must complete the Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA). This involves checking documents, paying fees, and fulfilling other important tasks to meet the enrollment requirements. Candidates admitted to the Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) for the 2022/2023 academic session must complete the online admissions clearing procedure using the SPTS-LACACA version of the LASU Central Admissions Clearing App (LACACA). Provisionally admitted candidates risk losing their admission offers, while successful candidates will receive matriculation numbers.

Detailed Guide to the LACACA-SPTS Operation:
- Visit the LASU website in Nigeria.
- Go to the STUDENT tab and click on SPTS LACACA.
- Select the radio button for “Newly Admitted 2022/2023.”
- Enter your Application Number and Last Name, then click Submit.
- Once logged in successfully, proceed to:
- Validate your basic bio-data details.
- Verify disability status.
- Upload valid O’Level Results Scratch Card details.
- Upload original Birth Certificate.
- Upload Admission Letter.
- Upload scanned Signature.
- Upload the Payment Receipt of the Consultancy Fee paid into the LASU Consult Ltd account.
- Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and clicking Submit.
- Upon submission, the admission clearance will be 20%, and the uploaded documents will be reviewed more closely.
- Keep track of the Admission Clearance process as your attention may be required for any documents that need correction.
- If there are any mistakes that need to be fixed, candidates will need to make the necessary payments through the LASU payment system.
- Once 100% clearance progress has been achieved and the Consultancy fee payment has been confirmed, successful students can print the SPTS Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2022/2023 Academic Session and obtain their Matriculation Number.
